The Annual Celebration of Scouting
Friday 4th December
6.30pm to 7.00pm at St Peter’s Church, Petersham
(All Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and Leaders in full uniform)
Afterwards 7.30pm at the hut for the Auction of Promises and Mini Christmas Fair
Would each family please bring some nibbles to share
Liquid refreshments provided

Cubs Fire Station Visit

On Monday 12 January 2015, Sea Serpents (Monday Cubs) visited Kingston Fire Station to learn about what happens at the fire station and what fire fighters do.  The fire engines (or fire appliances to the professionals) have loads of equipment on board and serve different purposes.

Cubs Sixers Camp

Over the (wet and muddy) weekend of 8/9 November, Petersham and Ham Cubs hosted a Sixer’s Camp with Cubs from Leander Sea Scouts.  A Sixer’s camp typically involves older Cubs – the sixers and seconders – getting to do things that are more suitable for older Cubs and prepare them for going up to Scouts.

Joint Cubs Camp 2014

P&H hosted Cubs from 3rd Whitton and 4th Feltham over the weekend of the 10-11th May.  In total we had just over 50 Cubs and around 20 Leaders/adult helpers buzzing around the P&H HQ and surrounds.

St George’s Day Parade 2014

The parade was attended by Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.   Everyone arrived promptly at Richmond College Sports Ground for the start and it was good to see all three sections represented (and no leader had to be a flag bearer!).
