Adult Volunteers

We have all sorts of different roles as an adult volunteer, with all relevant training provided and many chances to learn new skills and qualifications as well, including formal First Aid, Expedition and Watersports qualifications.

Perhaps you who want to join the leadership teams and work with young people in delivering the programme of activities as a Leader or Assistant Leader, or perhaps you prefer a ‘back office’ role in communications or administration, or you might have experience of Board oversight and wish to join our Board of Trustees, or perhaps you want to get involved in helping to organise specific events as one of the Friends of P&H (like a PSA committee at a school). Whatever your interest, we bet we have a role for you and would love to hear from you.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
